Celebrate Valentine’s in Paris
Business transaction or operation seduction, this year I decided to celebrate Valentine’s Day in the most romantic city in the world, in my city: Paris!
You, Americans adore Valentine’s Day. A few weeks before the date stores display hearts of all kinds to remind you to celebrate your lover. For us French, it seems to be a bit fake but this year hey! Let’s play the game; any opportunities to treat ourselves are good!
Paris, the city of all fantasies lends itself beautifully to this Valentine’s day!
On a bright sunny day – the sun celebrates Valentine’s Day in Paris – my man and I went on an adventure.
First stop the Pont des Arts. This metal walkway dating from the nineteenth century, straddling the Seine has been decorated in recent years by numerous padlocks symbolizing love between two people. So here we are, among many other couples, making a pact of eternal loyalty thanks to a small padlock attached to the most romantic bridge in Paris!
Oh my it’s lovely!
After this romantic oath, I feel like being naughty … And for that special day, what if I buy chic underwear? Go towards rue Saint Honore to Chantal Thomass, paradise of oh so delicate and feminine bottoms.
Oh I found what I was looking for! This bra and panty
embroidered with small Eiffel Towers! Too cute!
What could be more romantic after this tempting shopping than to celebrate with dignity, life, love and drink…
Meeting in the Bristol Bar, voted best luxury hotel bar in the world, where super trendy Parisian golden youth gather around groovy DJs. My lover and I occupy the favorite table of Vic and David Beckham, close to the fireplace. And since it’s Valentine’s Day we take the opportunity to taste the famous cocktail “365” offered in limited editions…only 365 copies, the height of hype!
Happy Valentine’s!
Still in Paris tomorrow I will take the opportunity to unveil my top-secret addresses of outlets, all the trendy Parisian brands snapped up at an affordable price.
Woohoo so good this Valentine’s Day in Paris!
