Makeup artists swear by them and personally I use one on myself everyday and on my clients, but eyelash curlers look like instruments of torture and most women I know don’t bother with them. ” I don’t know how to use them” is usually the reason why they don’t, but it makes SUCH a difference! Just giving your eyelashes a quick curl before mascara really opens up the eye and makes you look more wide awake.
Maybe you’ve tried it before, don’t like it or maybe you are one of those that even after using an eyelash curler your lashes are still straight. That’s where this handy heated eyelash curler comes into play. Much less scary to use, it really helps those lashes that have a hard time curling. I actually use both on some of my photoshoots. I will curl the lashes first with the traditional curler, apply mascara and then if I feel the lashes at the outer corner still need lifting I will use the heated curler on them even after mascara. They are very easy to use and great for some people for whom the traditional eyelash curler doesn’t reach all the lashes. To use you turn it on and it heats up quickly. Then just hold it on the lashes from underneath like a mascara and gently push them up. It makes a world of difference, really it’s worth a try.
This heated one from Japonesque is always in my pro kit and I also recommend the Shu Uemura eyelash curler for a traditional style eyelash curler.
