Ombre Souffle Supreme… doesn’t everything always sound better in French ? I came across this fantastic eyeshadow on a trip to Montreal, Canada. Lise Watier is a Canadian cosmetics company that has been around since 1972 but I hadn’t really researched their products until this trip. What caught my eye was this gorgeous iridescent shade of grey/silver aptly named Magie Noir. The texture is an extraordinarily light mousse, easy to apply with fingertips. It claims to be long lasting and includes Labrador tea extract , an anitoxidant in it’s ingredients. It glides on the eyelids so smoothly and is very easy to blend. Particularly clever to add an antioxidant, because like a BB cream your are getting added benefits from your makeup.
Metallic eyes are a big trend for fall. Here are couple of great looks you can easily achieve with this eyeshadow.
1. This is an easy look for day or if you prefer something more natural. In this look the eyeshadow was applied to the eyelids with just the finger and blended to just beyond the socket line to achieve a subtly smoky eye with a bit of iridescence. Curl your lashes and apply mascara. Keep the rest of your look natural with a soft pink blush for a pop of color.
2. Or go more dramatic and apply a matte black eyeshadow to your lid first in the shape you desire. ( it doesn’t have to be quite this dramatic ) Line your eyes with black liner and then tap the Magie Noir on top. This technique gives it more depth. You could also try this look with a navy shadow instead of black for a different hue.
It comes in 6 gorgeous shades and you can get it here.
Wow – the difference is amazing considering this is just one product, depending on how much you apply – love this! This is a modern take on the smokey eye and perfect if someone finds black or dark brown too harsh.
so gorgeous! i am obsessed with cream-based make up lately: eye shadow, blush, lip balm… you name it, i want it!
