I found this gorgeous blush while in SIngapore at the Missha boutique in the J-Cube mall at Jurong East. It caught my attention at first because it reminded me of those covetable Meteorite balls from Guerlain. Curious to see how they may have knocked off this makeup favorite, I tried both the neutral colored pastel glow, which is very similar to the meteorites as it gives you more of a glow and you would use it as a highlighter and the pink glow which is a blush with both color and a subtle glow. They are both lovely and at an affordable price (around $25), worth trying. For me, its the packaging that inspires, as both the brush and mirror are separated from the product keeping it clean and the silver compact makes it look very chic. Apply this blush sparingly along your cheekbones to give you a healthy glow. Here are three other ways to wear blush: Applying blush in a different placement on your face can change a look and also help bring out the best in your face shape. Try to avoid an all over with a big brush technique and try these placements for subtle enhancement. Don’t forget to ALWAYS blend well as you really want it to look natural.
Along the tops of cheekbones helps to lift the face and add dimension. You can place your blush just under the tops of the cheekbones and then blend a highlighter along the tops. Just remember to blend as you don’t want a stripe.
Smile and you will find the apples of your cheeks which would be the center at the fleshiest part. This blush placement gives a youthful appearance and can help thin, angular faces look fuller. You may want to avoid this if your face is really full or your apples already very prominent.
Flush- This placement works well with a creamy blush. Start with blending the blush just under the apples of your cheek and blending out and downwards to give you that subtle flush you may get after just exercising. Keep it well blended and fresh looking, it’s subtle not a full on hot flash! Do you have any favorite blushes?
