The Parisian Fashion Week has just ended and he is already involved in other projects… the fashion super hero who basically rules Chanel, but also Fendi – for 50 years – who owns his own brand, an amazing library in Paris, who talks about his pet – maybe the most famous cat in the world, who inspired him to launch cosmetic products with Shu Uemura, brilliant photographer too – and who, in short, is a great man, was born in… 1933!!!

This man, who debuted in Paris at the same time as Yves Saint Laurent – they were frennemies – this workaholic who does everything, who is fussy and who doesn’t mince his words…I’m really impressed by Karl. He is a true genius and he launched on September 20^th, 2014 his latest baby, the “Karl Daily”, a dozen-page magazine. Only 150 000 copies were published and distributed in 7 big European cities, but also in famous shops and hotels, trendy spots and even in…China! The designer says he loves laughing and he shows it in his magazine, in which he talks about his life in a satiric way sometimes. Of course, this first release has 4 ad pages linked to Lagerfeld’s world! He can do whatever he wants anyway as he is one of the most influential men… luxury gets “reachable” – which remins me the PAP A/H (read here) – since this first magazine Autumn/Winter 2014/2015 was free…

Since then, Karl just announced he was talking about a new project with J. Bieber. There is also his clothes and accessories line in the image of his cat, the Dear Choupette, who seems to be overbooked!

I can’t believe he does all that with diet coke…I think I’ll drink more then!
